The Director of Sales will have responsibility for defining the sales strategy and executing across the key domains and verticals for the new unit’s software products and solutions business. The individual will lead a team of product, solution and channel sales teams to meet and/or exceed the salestargets. The position will report into the President of the business unit.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build a high performance direct sales teams in North America
  • Deliver to the quarterly revenue / profitability targets
  • Build a process for monitoring the pipeline and sales progress on a weekly basis
  • Report performance on a weekly basis to the President of the business unit
  • Collaborate across the services industry verticals, unit’s marketing / sales / engineering organizations on client engagements
  • Anticipate and plan for future market changes that impact the business and create strategies for competitive advantage
  • Develop and foster relationships within key strategic customer base (internal or external)
  • Participate in key acquisitions, as needed.


The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications

  • Should have a minimum of 12+ years demonstrated software and solutions sales leadership
  • Needs to bring strong relationships across at least two of the three stated verticals below
  • Exceptional track record of building C-suite relationship across Banking / Financial Services, Retail / Consumer Products and Telecom / Media & Entertainment industry verticals
  • Successful in building and leading channel sales / business development
  • Working knowledge of digital infrastructure transformation
  • Successful track record of working closely with product development, product management, marketing etc. for better collaboration
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate organization and business unit vision; drive forward looking strategies across multi year horizon
  • Engineering / MBA
