Description:
Smartling is looking for talented Enterprise Account Executives to manage and grow direct sales of Smartling's solutions and services into Large Accounts (Global 2000). In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, consultative meetings, proposal creation and negotiating deal terms.

Reports To: VP of Sales

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Smartling brand and mission in the marketplace
  • Create, implement and own a sales pipeline to manage the entire sales cycle
  • Achieve or Exceed assigned sales goals each month and quarter
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Support teams to optimize every aspect of the product offering and customer engagement process
  • Team with your fellow salespeople to identify and implement best practices
  • Build and sustain great customer relationships
  • Delight customers

Requirements:

  • Experience and history of success (5 to 7 years) selling technology-based solutions and services at the executive level into businesses of all sizes
  • Experience selling software solutions as well as services is a significant plus
  • Strong working knowledge of web technologies, such as browser-based languages, Content Management Systems, IP protocols and related delivery infrastructures
  • Experience selling to both IT and Business users
  • Experience selling marketing solutions to Chief Marketing Officers is a significant plus
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 20%)
  • Training in Solution Selling or equivalent
  • Experience with the localization industry a plus
