Job Title: ARCHIBUS System Architect

Location: Any US based city, MULTIPLE

Job Description: Computerized Facility Integration, LLC (CFI) is currently seeking an ARCHIBUS System Architect to develop and manage the overall system design through project engagements. This key role provides the leadership for successful design, implementation and support of systems-related project goals to the project team, specifically the technical development and implementation resources.

LOCATION: Detroit, Chicago, or any US based city (remote/virtual).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate collaboration and cooperation with the primary system vendors.
  • Manage all aspects of the project related to systems and technology and their specific application for the client.
  • Drive innovative technical solutions to meet the client’s functional requirements.
  • Understand and exhibit experience in at least a specific range of Management Information Systems (MIS) tools, concepts and techniques are essential for this role.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, communication and writing skills.
  • Foster excellent relationships with Clients and will help drive additional value for the client, and increase probability of additional work and contract extensions.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Act as the lead and overall designer for the system to be developed. Ensures that all client system functional requirements are addressed.
  • 6+ years of business and technical experience, designing and implementing customer and internally facing solutions.
  • Minimum 3-5 years application support and application staffing solution development experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience leading teams, including client and consulting staff.
  • Solid Project Management background with the ability to talk through solutions, pricing, and staffing components of individual projects.
  • Develop efficient system design solutions based on existing application experience and knowledge.
  • Act as the lead and overall designer for the system to be developed. Ensures that all client system functional requirements are addressed.
  • Oracle or SQL Server experience.
  • Strong understanding and command of the SDLC methodologies.
  • Strong business process knowledge, specifically pricing, availability, customer service, account management, and fulfillment.
  • Ability to engage and manage senior level client relationships.
  • Technical writing skills for proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
  • Develop and conduct professional product demonstrations.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong background in ARCHIBUS development and/or ARCHIBUS Certified is a preferred.
  • Break/fix incident experience is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) industry
  • Provide domain expertise around a specific area of system architecture and software development with a focus on real estate and facilities management systems preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with web-based applications such as ARCHIBUS, Archibus, Maximo, and
  • 3-5 years of experience working with vector/CAD applications such as AutoCAD and Microstation.
